HiDip™ CLED-HiCrome™ UTI Medium

This HiDip slides are recommended for direct Escherichia coli identification under UV light (366nm). CLED Agar- A non-selective agar based on lactose fermentation with Bromothymol blue, BTB as indicator. HiCrome™ UTI Medium : This medium is recommended for presumptive identification & confirmation of microorganisms mainly causing urinary tract infections & other clinical . It facilitates and expedites the identification of some gram-negative bacteria and some gram-positive bacteria on the basis of different contrasted colony. It detects presence of ß-glucosidase and ß-D-galactosidase This medium can be made selective by supplementation with antibiotics for detecting microorganisms associated with hospital borne infections. .
