Penicillin-Streptomycin-Neomycin Solution w/ 5000 units Penicillin, 5mg Streptomycin and 10mg Neomycin per ml in Citrate buffer

Penicillin, streptomycin and neomycin are broad spectrum bacteriostatic and bactericidal agents effective against Gram positive bacteria and Gram negative bacteria. This is a sterile filtered antibiotic solution formulated to contain 5000 units penicillin, 5mg streptomycin and 10mg Neomycin per ml in citrate buffer. Penicillin, streptomycin and neomycin are broad spectrum bacteriostatic and bactericidal agents effective against Gram positive bacteria and Gram negative bacteria. Penicillin acts by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Streptomycin and neomycin block the initiation complex of protein synthesis by binding to the 30S subunit of bacterial 70S ribosome, thus interfering with the protein synthesis.
