5X RNA Gel Loading Buffer

5X RNA Loading Buffer is a premixed loading dye suitable for use in formaldehyde agarose gel electrophoresis of RNA. This is a two-color tracking dye for RNA migration during electrophoresis. The 5X RNA Loading Buffer is formulated for loading RNA samples on agarose gels containing two tracking dyes: bromophenol blue and xylene cyanol FF. Bromophenol blue migrates faster than 5S rRNA and xylene cyanol FF migrates slower than 18S rRNA. This solution does not mask RNA in the gel during exposure to UV light. It is to be diluted in 1:4 ration with RNA samples
