Atropine, a belladonna alkaloid, is an anti-muscarinic drug. It is extracted from Atropa belladonna. Atropine is an anticholinergic agent, which is linked to passive mydriasis. It blocks acetylcholine receptors in brain and has hallucinogenic effects.
