Bennet’s HiVeg™ Agar is used for cultivation and enhancement of sporulation of Nocardia and Streptomyces.The medium contains nitrogenous nutrients such as yeast extract, HiVeg extract and HVeg hydrolysate.They also serve as sources of carbon and essential growth factors. Dextrose is an energy source. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
