Chapman Stone Medium (Economy pack) (without Membrane Filter)

Recommended for detection and enumeration of Staphylococci by membrane filtration. The medium detects mannitol fermentation, gelatin liquefaction and pigmentation. Highly selective due to high salt concentration. Ammonium sulphate in the medium detects gelatin liquefaction directly showing clear zones around the colonies. Sterile pad is supplied in sterile disposable bag. Membrane filter is not supplied .
