Transport Swab w/ SCDM w/ Lecithin, Polysorbate 80 & Normal Saline is recommended for transporting microbial specimens for determining efficiency of sanitization. It contains one tube of sterile SCDM with lecithin and polysorbate 80 and other tube with normal saline, each tube containing sterile flocked nylon swab. For optimum results, the time lapse between sample collection and inoculum onto culture medium should be reduced to the minimum.
