Soyabean Casein Digest Medium w/ 6.5% NaCl is recommended for collection & transport of aerobic, anaerobic and fastidious organisms from rectum containing 2 ml of medium with sterile Viscous swab. For optimum results, the time lapse between sample collection and inoculum onto culture medium should be reduced to the minimum.
