HiDip™ TSA-Rose Bengal Medium

This HiDip slide is recommended for microbial screening of food and water. TSA/ Tryptone Soya Agar : a general purpose growth medium used for the cultivation of wide variety of microorganisms including bacteria and fungi. Tryptone and Soya peptone supplies the essential nutrients. It can be supplemented with blood for the growth of fastidious organisms. Rose Bengal Agar for selective isolation and enumeration of yeasts and moulds from foods, environmental materials and clinical . Rose Bengal dye suppresses the development of bacteria and reduces the spreading of moulds, It is specifically used in clean room monitoring.
