The HiPurA® 96 Plasmid DNA Purification Kit provides a simple and rapid method for purifying plasmid or cosmid DNA from small volume of bacterial cultures (2.0 ml). The HiPurA® 96 Plasmid DNA Purification Kit provides a simple and rapid method for purifying plasmid or cosmid DNA from small volume of bacterial cultures (2.0 ml). The kit uses the principle of silica binding in a 96-well format facilitating the binding, washing and elution steps thus enabling multiple samples to be processed simultaneously. This procedure is based on a modified alkaline lysis procedure specialized for high-throughput DNA applications. Concentration of DNA can be estimated by agarose gel electrophoresis. Typical DNA yield is upto 20 µg/well from 1-2ml cell culture/well.
