HiPurA® SuperPlant DNA Purification Kit (For purification of DNA from plants rich in polyphenols)

HiPurA® SuperPlant DNA Purification Kit is a column based DNA purification kit for plant using Superplant extraction buffer containing CTAB. HiPurA® SuperPlant DNA Purification Kit simplifies isolation of DNA from fresh plant material with spin column procedure. It is recommended for purification of DNA from plants rich in polyphenols. The kit utilizes an advanced silica-based membrane technology in the form of a convenient spin column facilitating the binding, washing and elution steps thus enabling multiple samples to be processed simultaneously. SuperPlant Extraction Buffer contains CTAB, a detergent used to break open plant cells and solubilize the contents. This method can be used both on freeze dried leaves and on fresh leaves. The concentration of DNA can be estimated by agarose gel electrophoresis. Typical DNA yield is upto 50 µg from 200mg of plant tissue.
