Cultural response is comparable with Meat extract powder (RM003). 0.3 - 0.5% concentration supports the growth of fastidious organisms, when combined with suitable vegetable peptones. It is recommended for general purpose and diagnostic media preparations. It is also suitable for bulk production of antibiotics, enzymes, steroid vaccines and other biological preparations.
