CF011 is recombinant Cerebral Dopamine Neurotrophic Factor expressed in E. coli filtered through 0.22μ membrane filter and lyophilized. CDNF is a secreted neurotrophic factor that is expressed in brain, neuronal and certain non-neuronal tissues which promotes survival, growth and function of dopamine- specific neurons. CDNF prevents 6-OHDA-induced degeneration of dopaminergic neurons.
