Human Recombinant Thrombopoietin (TPO) Source : E.coli Cell Culture Tested

CF073 is recombinant human Thrombopoietin expressed in E. coli, filtered through 0.22μ membrane filter and lyophilized from 10mM sodium citrate, pH 3.0. Thrombopoietin (TPO), the ligand of c-Mpl protein, is the major physiological regulator of megakaryocyte maturation and platelet production. TPO is expressed mainly in liver, kidney and skeletal muscle. TPO enhances megakaryocyte colony formation; increases the size, number and ploidy of developing megakaryocytes; and results in increased platelet production.
