Human Recombinant Transforming Growth Factor-beta1 Source : HEK 293 Cell Culture Tested

CF078 is recombinant human transforming growth factor β1 expressed in HEK 293 cells, filtered through 0.22μ membrane filter and lyophilized with 0.1% TFA. Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) induces cellular growth independently of adhesion and its action is similar to that of epidermal growth factor (EGF). TGF-β commonly promotes growth of many cell lines in monolayer culture. It stimulates the secretion of ECM proteins and protease inhibitors. The inhibition of monolayer growth by TGF is more prominent in epithelial cells, endothelial cells, stem cells and lymphocytes.
