M-Endo Medium (without Membrane Filter)

Recommended for detection and enumeration of E.coli and coliforms by membrane filtration. This medium gives higher counts and is most satisfactory since coliform colonies develop rapidly. E.coli appears as pink coloured colonies with metallic sheen. Sodium sulphite and basic fuchsin inhibit the growth of gram-positive organisms. Sterile pad is supplied in sterile Petri plate. Membrane filter is not supplied .
