Polysorbate 80 HiVegâ„¢ Agar (Twin Pack) is recommended for the cultivation of a variety of microorganisms. It is a nutritional medium containing neutralizing agent Polysorbate 80 which helps in neutralizing phenolic disinfectants, hexachlorophene and formalin present in the medium thereby increasing the metabolic rate of the organisms. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
