Recommended for the selective cultivation of yeasts & moulds . High dextrose concentration and low pH favours fungal growth and Chloramphenicol inhibits contaminating bacteria from test . Mycological peptone and Dextrose are the energy sources. The plate are gamma irradiated . Available in scored plate for environmental monitoring, sterility checks by touch or contact method.
