Sodium bicarbonate solution, 7.5% (W/V)

Sodium bicarbonate solution, 7.5% (W/V) is used as a buffer in molecular biology, tissue culture and biochemical experiments. Sodium bicarbonate is commonly used as a pH buffering agent, an electrolyte replenisher, systemic alkalizer and in topical cleansing solutions. Sodium Bicarbonate is buffer commonly used for maintaining the pH of cell culture medium in the presence of 4–10% carbon dioxide.
