Septum, Flanged Stopper (Suba-Seal®)

Our premium flanged rubber stoppers are ideal for air- and moisture-sensitive applications. The self-sealing rubber closes after needle puncture, helping maintain an airtight, moisture-resistant seal that protects contents from atmospheric exposure.

A molded turnover flange grips the outside of the container neck, while annular serrations on the hollow plug create multiple sealing points against the inner wall, providing a reliable double-seal for enhanced protection.

Storage Note: Store septa in a sealed bag away from direct sunlight to reduce blooming (a harmless white surface film). If present, simply wipe or wash before use.

Note: When using large-bore transfer needles, additional security can be achieved by fastening the septum to the bottle or flask opening with a tie wrap. See available ties and accessory tools for installation.
