1. Used in distillation assemblies where adjustable immersion depth of the thermometer is desired. Threaded top connection for plain stem thermometers 
2. Vacuum-tight seal is achieved with the open top compression cap and o-ring
3. Threaded cap  is suitable for use to 200 °C
4. Thread size is modified GPI 13-425 and o-ring is size 010
5. Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements
