Glassware such as beakers, test tubes, and graduated cylinders, heat sources such as Bunsen burners or hot plates, and measurement instruments such as balances are examples of basic chemistry lab equipment. 

The following ten items are frequently seen in a chemical lab: fume hoods, balances, microscopes, Erlenmeyer flasks, burettes, pipettes, graduated cylinders, beakers, test tubes, and burettes.

For conducting experiments, measure, and evaluate materials, chemistry labs need a range of equipment. Glassware such as beakers, flasks, and test tubes, as well as instruments for heating, combining, and measuring such as scales, stir rods, and Bunsen burners, are examples of common equipment.
