HiCombi™ CLED - MacConkey Agar Plate

This Biplate is a combination of CLED Agar + MacConkey Agar w/ 0.15% Bile salts, CV and NaCl and is recommended for the isolation and differentiation of urinary pathogens on the basis of lactose fermentation. CLED Agar is a non selective medium based on lactose fermentation with Bromothymol blue, BTB as the indicator. MacConkey Agar is based on lactose fermentation with neutral red as the indicator. Bile salts and crystal violet inhibits gram positive organisms.
