This Biplate contains Mannitol Salt Agar in both the halves and is recommended for selection and subculture of Staphylococcus aureus in accordance with the harmonized method of USP/EP/BP/JP/IP. It is recommended for Microbial Limit Testing (MLT), Dietary supplements, Pharmaceutical testing. It is based on Mannitol fermentation with phenol red indicator. It is selective due to high salt concentration.
